Renewable Monthly

June 2024 - Look at the Aggregate!

Report Preview

Both wind and solar were front and center during the month of June in markets across the country.  The typical pattern of steadily dwindling wind from its peak in April to bottoming out in August was delayed with many regions posting strong wind performances throughout the month.  The result was higher renewable supply from wind along with the continued growth of solar in places like ERCOT, MISO, and PJM which kept net load in check despite increasing load.
